Postpartum Doula
As your postpartum doula, my role is to guide and nurture your family through the postpartum period and newborn phase. I will be there for you and your family whatever your postpartum journey looks like.
I cultivate a calm, supportive atmosphere where healing and bonding are the priority. I assist with sleep and feeding plans, lactation support, sibling adjustments and light meal prep and housework. I even attend pediatric visits and run errands when needed. Of course, I also specialize in newborn care and will provide excellent, evidence-based care whenever needed. On weekends, my overnight care helps many tired parents catch up on much-needed sleep while I responsively and proactively tend to their little one.
Some families benefit from prenatal visits (billed at the same rate as my postpartum services) to help plan their registry, organize their home, stock their freezer with postpartum-friendly meals. Some families schedule my postpartum services well in advance, and I meet them in the hospital after the birth of their little one. Others book my services on short notice after they turn out to need more postpartum support than they anticipated. There’s no wrong way to go about planning for your postpartum support. The important thing is making sure you feel held and supported; that’s what I’m here for.
